| Bio: | My Fandom Life: I started out in "The X Files" back in 1998, writing Skinner/everyone, both slash and het, and with the occasional fine sprinkling of BDSM and spanking because that's the kind of girl I am ;-). I discovered my fandom persona in XF. I moved onto "The West Wing" (Jed/Leo), flirted with "Dr Who" (Dr/Jack) and then ended up in "Stargate Atlantis" (Rodney/Carson, Rodney/John, Rodney/John/Carson) which is where I currently am.
What you'll find here: Fandom squeeing, discussion of episodes and characters, story notifications when I've updated my story journal with a new fic, and quiz type trivia with the odd request for recipes thrown in.
What you won't find here: Any malicious comments about other writers or their work or any mean-spirited attacks on other people in fandom. I'm just not interested in either writing it or reading it on other people's LJs either.
Friending policy: By all means go ahead and friend me - I'm really cool with that. I might not friend you back - mostly because I only ever update my user info once in a blue moon and I don't automatically friend everyone who has friended me anyway. For this reason I'm unlikely to notice if you defriend me and I'm really fine with that. I know people's interests in fandom change and that's cool.
Beta Note: People often send me their stories on spec and ask me for help, advice or a full beta. I really hate having to turn people down but I do only beta or give help on stories for a few very close friends or people I have an existing beta relationship with whose work I know. This is nothing personal - I just don't have the time to give my full attention to everything that gets sent to me. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings so please don't send me anything on spec without checking with me first.
